Family Camp
Whether you and your family have never been to overnight camp or you’re a seasoned Camp Pine Crest Alumni - Family Camp is for YOU. Bring the whole family and your friends and participate in a wide range of camp activities including canoeing, kayaking, crafts, high ropes, cross-country skiing and so much more!
All programs are led by our experienced YMCA staff team. Each activity block offers options tailored tailored for children and specifically tailored to adults. In addition to daily exciting program schedule, there’s plenty of time to kick back, relax, and enjoy some well-deserved dock time.
The all-inclusive fee is per person, covering accommodations, meals (and snacks!), and all activities.

Come enjoy a Halloween-themed Weekend at Camp Pine Crest and celebrate Fall with the family! Programs will include pumpkin carving, Trick-or-Treating and much more!

February 14-17, 2025
Come enjoy quality family time this family day long weekend at Camp Pine Crest! Programs will include snow shoeing, cross country skiing and much more!
Arrival begins at 5:00PM on Friday, with a buffet dinner served from 6:00PM - 7:00PM. The weekend includes 3 meals/day & snacks, accommodation in our lodges, and staff-led programming throughout the days and evenings. Mornings will contain age-group activities to provide parents with some time away from their kids and afternoons will have family programs that you can attend together. Our Lodges are dorm-style buildings - you'll have your own room(s) for your family but can expect to share the building and washrooms with other families.

Spring 2025 Dates Coming Soon
Bring the family and come enjoy Camp Pine Crest this May long weekend! Programs will include high ropes, swimming, canoeing and much more!
Arrival begins at 5:00PM on Friday - there will be a buffet dinner served from 6:00PM - 7:00PM to accommodate varying arrival times. The weekend includes 3 meals/day & snacks, accommodation in our lodges or cabins (you can choose which you'd prefer at registration), and staff-led programming throughout the days and evenings. Mornings will contain age-group activities to provide parents with some time away from their kids and afternoons will have family programs that you can attend together. Our Lodges are dorm-style buildings - you'll have your own room(s) for your family but can expect to share the building and washrooms with other families. Our cabins are rustic, on beautifully rugged terrain, and contain 5 bunk beds each; washrooms are not in the cabin but rather nearby.

Summer 2025 Dates Coming Soon
Family Camp is your opportunity to spend quality time in the outdoor setting of YMCA Camp Pine Crest with plenty of opportunities to explore and have fun. The activities include: low and high ropes courses, climbing, canoeing, kayaking, natural arts and crafts, hiking, swimming, campfires, games night, outdoor cooking and much more. During the family camp week there is a balance between optional programmed activities and time to enjoy the site on your own. We also offer programs for just kids, just adults and programs together as families. All ages are welcome and families and groups are encouraged to bring friends.
Family Fun Day
Family Fun Days are a great opportunity for families, future campers and friends to come together and visit our site for a day of fun! Our team will have the site all set up and ready with plenty of seasonal outdoor activities available for all ages: 3-99! Archery, high ropes, climbing wall, campfires, arts & crafts, waterfront activities & more!
Details
Activities start at 10am, meet our staff in the parking lot for a map and schedule of the day’s activities. Take a guided tour of our property or join the many classic camp activities with your family in tow. A BBQ lunch will be served between 11:00am and 2:30pm - tickets can be purchased in advance with your registration or onsite (depending on availability). All activities and programs will wrap up at 3:30pm.
