Travel+Learn+Work=The Experience of a Lifetime (or, how to land the best summer job EVER)
It may be March, but you're already daydreaming of summer and all the fun you'll be having when school finally lets out for the year. Maybe you're going to travel with your family or your friends to a destination you've always dreamed of and get away from the city for a little while. The YMCA's Summer Work Student Exchange is a national exchange program that brings together youth from different communities across Canada for an opportunity to improve their second official language skills and gain employment experience through a work placement. To break it down to the basics: You get to travel and explore Canada, improve your language skills (French or English), and meet new friends--all while getting paid! Not a bad way to spend the summer.
