Tracy’s training transformation
Over the years, I tried a lot of different gyms, but always stopped going within a few months. I’d try their group classes and end up not liking them, or find myself wasting a lot of time wandering around their weight rooms, unsure which exercises to do and how to do them properly.
That all changed when I met Kim at the YMCA. She was teaching the very first class I took, and I instantly knew her teaching style was going to work for me. Kim was passionate about her work, her classes were intense, and her high energy kept me motivated from start to finish. Before I knew it, I was taking a whole bunch of classes I’d never even thought of trying before.
Kim’s energy was so contagious I decided to start one-on-one personal training with her. I started seeing results almost instantly, which was no surprise to me. Kim is dedicated to seeing me succeed, and she stays laser-focused throughout every single one of our sessions together — no more wandering around wondering what to do! Kim has this no-nonsense, tell-it-like-it-is approach; she won’t let me off the hook, and that’s exactly what I need. I know from my history of ditching the gym after a few months that I need someone like Kim to keep me motivated, and Kim never lets me give up.
One of the ways she inspires me to keep going is through variety. I love that I never do the same workout twice — Kim seems to know an endless number of different exercises, and is always teaching me new ways to challenge myself. She really knows what she’s doing, and how to customize her training to meet my personal needs and help me see the best results possible.
Thanks to Kim, I can now work out confidently and effectively, even on my own. I look and feel like a new person since I’ve started training with Kim, and I’m so grateful to her for everything she’s taught me.
