Spring can be stressful.


With exams to study for, vacations to plan, and a summer job to find, you have a lot on your plate. Amidst the madness, it’s important to take time out for yourself.

Here are the top 5 ways to keep your stress in check this spring

  1. Yoga


    Find your zen in a restorative program that focuses on breathing techniques and meditation, or sweat your stress away as you flow quickly through high-intensity poses.



  2. Swimming


    Swim solo for some peace and quiet, and get in some relaxing stretch time to wrap up your laps. Or, take your mind off your stressors (and meet some new people) by joining a class or team.



  3. Martial arts


    Release stress by getting in some powerful punches and kicks in a karate class, or work on your balance, coordination, flexibility, and concentration in a serene Tai Chi class.



  4. Running


    High-energy cardio helps you burn off steam and release built-up tension. Run solo on the treadmill or track, or use a group mentality to keep you motivated by joining a running club.



  5. Weightlifting


    Strength training not only helps you let go of your stressors, it also alleviates aches and pains by providing you with the strength and endurance you need to sustain proper, pain-free postural alignment.
