About this camp:
Richmond Hill Lake St. George Day Camp is an amazing location. With over 300 acres to explore, it has the feeling of a rural camp — with trails, streams, lakes, forests and more — but near the city. It has a lake onsite, so campers can try canoeing and kayaking. It is also a great site for mountain biking, and has a low ropes course as well.
Campers in the Nature Explorers and Environmental Science programs even go out on the solar-powered pontoon boat during their program to conduct a lake study with Conservation Area staff. And all campers swim twice per week at the Oak Ridge Community Centre, just a two minute bus ride down the road.
