Celebrating our YMCA City Builders: TD Bank Group

YMCA City Builders are philanthropic leaders who have generously given 1 million dollars or more to date to the YMCA of Greater Toronto. On June 5, 2018, we proudly honoured TD Bank Group as they were inducted into our growing circle of esteemed YMCA City Builders. We’re grateful to TD Bank Group for creating the conditions so everyone has the chance to succeed in a changing world.
We’re deeply honoured to receive vital support from TD. Through their generosity to our YMCA in many different ways over the years, TD has been able to create impact in many different ways. For example, TD has significantly supported green spaces at our YMCA Centres of Community through our Strong Start, Great Future Capital Campaign. They’ve helped transform our YMCA Cedar Glen Outdoor Centre into a dynamic education facility that hosts 25,000 participants of all ages annually. And they made a significant contribution to the redevelopment of our YMCA Camp Pine Crest’s 100-year-old buildings, allowing continuing generations of young people to experience the great outdoors.
TD has also helped provide opportunities and experiences for people to learn, grow, and achieve well-being. Along with donating, TD senior team members and associates also generously contribute their time, talents, and leadership to help strengthen our communities.
As a YMCA City Builder, TD’s remarkable support and shared vision will continue to make a difference in the lives of individuals and families for years to come.
