Celebrating our YMCA City Builders: Martine M. Irman
Martine Irman first got her start with the Y by taking swim lessons, eventually becoming a lifeguard at the YMCA of Montreal. While building a successful career in finance, Martine has remained equally dedicated to mentoring young women professionally and supporting our community. She has lent her name and continuously grown her philanthropic contributions to our Strong Start, Great Future Capital Campaign since first joining as a Cabinet member in 2011, a year after joining our Board of Directors.
Our gratitude for this incredible YMCA City Builder is profound: Under her exceptional leadership as immediate Past Chair of our Campaign Cabinet, Martine has helped guide the direction of our fundraising efforts. A true champion of the communities she’s been serving for decades, she provides unwavering leadership and strategic support as YMCA of Greater Toronto’s current Board Chair. She continues to give both her time and treasure in support of young people, and believes that everyone should be given opportunities to realize their full potential. The impact of Martine’s partnership with our YMCA will be felt for decades to come.
Thank you to our YMCA City Builders and all of our donors for your spirit of giving. Together, you are building vibrant communities where everyone can shine! To read about some of our other donors and their impact, visit ymcagta.org/Donors.
