Brampton Barracudas: Leading like Fish in the Pool and Community Champions on Land

The Brampton Barracudas, a group of 120 Junior Lifeguards, have garnered a reputation for excellence in lifeguarding and competitive swimming, as well as for finding creative ways to support their community through the YMCA. In fact, together, they’ve raised over $10,000 to help keep the YMCA accessible for kids just like them.

Megathon is the YMCA of Greater Toronto’s largest annual fundraiser, with over 50 events held across nine Health & Fitness Centres from February 25th to March 3rd. Members and friends pledge their support for the fitness challenges set by our Champions and help to ensure that the YMCA remains accessible to all.
