What to expect at YMCA Summer Club vs. Summer Day Camp
At the Y, two of the most commonly asked questions we receive from parents are: “What’s the difference between YMCA Summer Club and Summer Day Camp?” and “Which program is right for my child?” Our response? While there isn't necessarily a “right” or “wrong” program to enroll your kid(s) in, our goal is to help parents find the best fit for their child this summer.

Programming | Following our acclaimed YMCA Playing to Learn™ curriculum and A Place to Connect™ curriculum, YMCA Summer Club programming is licensed and regulated. Brought to life by our dedicated Registered Early Childhood Educators, Summer Club caters to the current interests of children; programming may include: • Group Games/Activities • Indoor/Outdoor Sports • Arts and Crafts • Field Trips • Special visitors and event days | YMCA Summer Day Camp is run by our highly trained staff and offers 60+ fun and engaging programs including*: • Arts Programs • Outdoor Programs • Leadership Programs • Media Arts Programs • Science & Academic Programs • Sports Programs • Swimming Lessons At least twice a week, campers will also have an opportunity to go swimming either on-site or at a local pool!
